Laity of the Holy Family

The presence of the Sisters of the Holy Family motivated the birth of two groups of lay people inspired by our spirituality and charism. These groups are located in the cities of Ze ’Doca –MA- and Itararé –SP-Brazil.

The experience sharing spirituality with laypeople can and must be understood in the spirit of following Nazareth. These lay people arrived in the same way as vocations. They knocked on the door in Ze 'Doca and Itararé, asking to participate in moments of prayer and to share a little spirituality and charisma. At present, both in Ze 'Doca and in Itararé, the experience of sharing our spirituality is taking place in a systematic way with weekly meetings of prayer and reflection, festive celebrations of the Congregation and feast of the Holy Family, once a month celebrating birthdays. At the same time, concrete actions to support families in their various needs and circumstances are carried out.

The groups are open for complete families, spouses, widows, separate ladies, young people and children.
